Stevia is a natural sweetener and a great sugar substitute. Stevia is also called the sweet leaf, and the scientific name is Stevia rebaudiana. It is available in the form of a plant.   Global warming is a phenomenon that is quite talked about during the 21st Century. The ozone layer depletion, pollutants level rising and energy sources depleting are the main reasons why there is a dire need to change our lifestyle and discover new alternative resources of energy too. One such alternative is Solar Energy. We all have heard about solar energy in our academics before, and we all have a fair idea of using the sunlight to be transformed into electricity. It is either directly used through photovoltaic or through concentrated solar power.  In the early stages, solar power was being harvested through panels that were fit on rooftops of houses or buildings which would harvest the energy directly. The cost of fitting the solar panels was quite expensive in its initial stage, and not adopted by everyone. The storage of solar energy can be cumbersome as it needs to be used as soon as possible or need to be stored in very large batteries. Also, the placement of the panels was

Be Yourself

Being true to yourself is so much easier than trying to be someone else! I feel that the simplicity of life is just being yourself! — Bobby Brown One of the most creative and adventurous journeys any of us can undertake is to learn who we really are and live a life, which is true to our authentic self! I see this as a very high form of art: The art of being yourself! The journey begins when w e  embrace the mindset that says the need to conform is spurious and that it fails to serve us or even those around us. If this mindset sounds familiar, there’s a very good reason for the same. It is because you will have seen it mentioned time and again, whenever you have studied the life or work of any great artist, visionary or thought leader. The thing is some people are different whilst others just try to be that! Read more here

Forgive or Forget - The Dilemma

Forgive and Forget are two different words but they are usually always used together.  You may not have realised but these two words are always used one after the other. Whenever you make a mistake, Arrey maaf kar de yaar (Please forgive me) Chal na, ab bhul jaa sab kuch (Now please forget everything) See, I proved my point there already! There is an old saying - Forgive and Forget! But are you sure you always pertain to it? Well in retrospect I as an individual believe in this concept but it’s quite difficult to follow it ahead somehow.  If there is even one memory that can remind me of an incident that hurt me, that makes it difficult to forget. We do forgive the person related to it, but there is always that memory we cling on too.  Do you know the reason behind this? It is because we are told to learn from our mistakes and not repeat them again. We need to cling on to the memory of that one mistake so that we do not repeat it all over again. Our brain is so complex, yet it doesn’t

Missing the yearly ritual

The anticipated yearly ritual came to a halt this year 😔  The pandemic has been such a turn of events for every person. No one must have anticipated how the year 2020 would take a drastic 360-degree turn but as they say, whatever is supposed to happen will happen. Change is inevitable and we all need to adapt to those changes, even if we do not agree. My mother is Christian by faith, it was a yearly ritual for us to visit The Mount Mary Church in Bandra every 15 th  August. The church is so beautiful and peaceful. This day every year, we would wake up early morning to reach Bandra, hear the mass, be grateful for all that we have, and offer our wishes. I would not go home without taking a seat at Bandra Bandstand. It was the only time where we could enjoy the calm at Bandra as weekdays would not be apt for us. Nonetheless, if time permitted we would even roam around Bandra (for some shopping of course), that could not be missed at any cost. One thing that I realised was that ever
